A Sea of Nature
The June Holidays passed like a breeze. Unknowingly, school had already reopened and we are back from the lethargic sleep and now carrying "stressful schoolbags", back to being "homework machines".
This is a lethargic and enriching holiday for me.
I went to the Hortpark with my mother. The first view that met my eyes was the two neat rows of flowers and shrubs and the aisle in between. It gave me the feel that I was the flower princess, haha!
Afterwhich, we went to the visitors centre. There was many exhibits like sculptures, drawings and more. I was simply beguied by the different pots they used for planting seeds. One was using thin straps of wood and weaved them into a small gardening pot, interesting!
The trail was laid by the flowers though. There was the silver garden...... golden garden...... Not really golden but the flowers grown there are mostly in golden yellow, so brightly coloured. I snapped many photos!
My last stop was the greenhouse. A myriad of flowers were grown there., there was an extremely "kiasu" flower, opening up its petals, thereby exposing the stigma and anther.
I was dead beat after the long walking! Gotta get a good sleep in the bus!
